Surf-style grip for powerful turns
The 2027 Hyperlite Accelerator pairs a high-performance twin-fin shape with a wide swallow tail and double-wing rails for riders who like driving through turns and boosting above the lip.
Best For
- Surf-style carving: The twin-fin design carries the Accelerator's lively feel into and out of turns.
- Extra grip on rail: Double wings on each rail add bite and stability to the twin-fin setup.
- Taking your line into the air: The wide swallow tail supports the board's pop above the lip.
- A complete fin and traction setup: Two custom 4.5-inch Accelerator fins and machined corduroy EVA traction with a kick tail are included.
Put your turn to work
The Accelerator takes a familiar surf-style outline and gives it a purposeful feel through the wave. Its wide swallow tail is a key part of the design, helping riders build a line that can finish above the lip. The twin-fin setup keeps the ride lively as you move from one turn into the next.
Double wings along the rails add grip, giving you more bite and stability as you set an edge. If you enjoy pushing through a carve and using that line to set up an air, that balance of twin-fin freedom and rail grip is the reason to consider the Accelerator.
Construction and included setup
Handcrafted epoxy construction uses an EPS core with a wood stringer. The board also features dual deck reinforcement and Futures fin boxes. It comes with two custom carbon and fiberglass Accelerator fins measuring 4.5 inches each, plus machined corduroy EVA traction and a raised kick tail.
